Lemon chicken

6 boneless skinless chicken thighs cut in 1 inch chunks
1/2 c flour
salt and pepper to taste
1/2  tsp garlic powder
1 onion chopped
1 ib baby carrots
2 tbsp cider viniger
1/4 c ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c lemon juice
1 3 oz pkg instant lemon pudding mix

shake chicken in zip top bag with flour salt and pepper to taste and garlic powder place onions and carrots in slow cooker place chicken on top of chopped begetables stir vingegar ketchup water and brown sugar together pour over chicken cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7 hours mix together lemon juice pudding mix and 1 c water stir into slow cooker cook on high 30 minutes or until sauce thickens serve chicken and carrots with sauce over cooked rice

Orange chicken

follow recipe for lemon chicken but replace lemon juice and pudding mix with 1/4 c orange juice 1/2 c orange marmalade 3 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp grated ginger root combine with vinegar mixture pour over chicken cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7
