Shepherd pie

2 ib ground beef
16 ounce bag frozen mixed vegtables
2 c cheddar cheese grated
4 potatoes shredded
salt and pepper
1 cube butter sliced

brown and drain ground beef pour 1/2 cup water in bottom of slow cooker layer vegtables ground beef cheese and shreeded potatoes sprinkle with salt pepper and butter slices cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours or low 5 to 6 hours can substitute vegtables of choice

Tator tot casserole in crock pot

I just have to say this is one of my husbands favorites he said it is so moist in the crockpot and he eats a ton of it

2 ib ground beef
16 oz bag tator tots
2 cans green beans drained
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste

Brown and drain ground beef in slow cooker mix 1/2 bag tator tots with ground beef. Spread green beans over top pour soup and milk over green beans and sprinkle with salt and pepper spread remaining tator tots on top cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours Cheesy tator tot casserole...add 1 c grated cheddar cheese before top layer of tater tots

Hamburger pie in crockpot

2 ib ground beef browned
6 potatoes peeled and sliced
6 carrots sliced
1 onion
3 celery ribs sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 can tomato soup
2 c frozen peas

Brown and drain ground beef pour 1/2 c water in bottom of slow cooker layer the potatoes carrots onions and celery seasoning with salt and pepper on each layer spread cooked ground beef and soup over top cover and cook on high 2 to 3 hours or low 5 to 6 hours add peas during last hour of cook time

Tin foil dinners

Follow above recipe but omit tomato soup divide ingredients including peas and place on 6 individual pieces of alumin foil fold foil to seal and place in slow cooker cover and cook on high 1 to 1/2 hours rotate dinners cook on high an additional 1 1/2 hours these are fun for kids

Lemon chicken

6 boneless skinless chicken thighs cut in 1 inch chunks
1/2 c flour
salt and pepper to taste
1/2  tsp garlic powder
1 onion chopped
1 ib baby carrots
2 tbsp cider viniger
1/4 c ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c lemon juice
1 3 oz pkg instant lemon pudding mix

shake chicken in zip top bag with flour salt and pepper to taste and garlic powder place onions and carrots in slow cooker place chicken on top of chopped begetables stir vingegar ketchup water and brown sugar together pour over chicken cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7 hours mix together lemon juice pudding mix and 1 c water stir into slow cooker cook on high 30 minutes or until sauce thickens serve chicken and carrots with sauce over cooked rice

Orange chicken

follow recipe for lemon chicken but replace lemon juice and pudding mix with 1/4 c orange juice 1/2 c orange marmalade 3 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp grated ginger root combine with vinegar mixture pour over chicken cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7

chinese sesame chicken in crockpot

1/2 cup flour
2 tbsp cornstartch
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg well beaten
1/4 c milk
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs cut in 1 inch chunks
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1/4 c ketchup
1/4 c brown sugar
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp ginger root grated
2 tbsp sesame oil
sesame seeds

sift dry ingredients together and place in siptop bag whisk eggand milk together dip chicken chunks 5-6 at a time into egg mixture then shake in flour mixture place chiken pieces in slow cooker combine remaining ingredients except sesame seeds pour over chicken cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7 hours serve over hot cooked rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds

barbecue chicken in crock pot

4 to 5 ib chicken strips
1 24 oz bottle of ketchup
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper diced
4 cloves of garlic minced
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1 12 oz can lemon lime soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp tabasco sauce
2 tbsp worchestire sauce

Place chicken strips in slow cooker add remaining ingredients cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 7 to 8 hours remove lid and cook on high the last 30 to 60 minutes or until sauce thickens serve chicken with sauce

Pineapple chicken

follow the above recipe for barbecue chicken but add 1 ib baby carrots and 1 additional diced green pepper before cooking drain 1 20 oz can pineapple chunks add pineapple during last 30 minutes of cooking time serve over hot cooked rice

stuffed dumplings in crockpot

2 bonless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp chicken boulion
salt and pepper
dash paprika
4 green onions chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 soup can milk
1 pkg refrigerator biscuits

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker sprinkle bouillon salt pepper and paprika over top pour 1 c water around sides cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7 hours shred chicken mix 1/2 of the chicken with chopped green onions mix soup and milk with the remaining shreeded chicken in slow cooker press biscuits to resemble mini pizza crusts fill each crust with 3 tbsp chicken filling fold edges up and seal dough together place on top of chicken gravy in slow cooker tilt lid to vent steam and cook on high for 30 to 60 minutes or until buiscuts are cooked in center

chicken dijon in crockpot

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
3 tbsp dijon mustard
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper

Place chicken breasts in slow cooker sprinkle with dijon mustard pour soup and milk over top sprinkle with salt and pepper cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 6 to 7

chicken and wild rice in crock pot

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp chicken boulion
1 16 oz box long grain wild rice mix
2 cans cream of chicken soup
4 carrots sliced
1/4 cup of water
2 cups wter
2 cups brocoli chopped

place chicken in slow cooker and sprinkle bouillon over chicken combine remaining ingredients except broccoli pour over chicken cook on high 4 to 5 hours or low 6 to 7 hours add broccoli during last hour of cooking time.

smothered burritos in crockpot

6 c shredded pork
12 flour tortillas
2 4 oz cans diced green chilis
1 16 oz bottled green sauce
1 cup cheese grated
1 cup sour cream
2 limes quartered
choice of topings

spread 1.3 c shredded pork down center of tortillas fold up burrito style place in a 9 by 13  baking dish sprinkle with small amount of grated cheese broil on hugh 2 to 3 minutes mix remaining shredded pork with chilies and green sauce remove burritos from oven sprinkle remaining grated cheese and green sauce over burritos if desired serve burritos with a dollop of sour cream and choice toppings
